[Web4lib] Google Book Search and interlibrary loan practice?

A couple of days ago a doctoral student mentioned to me that she'd had an ILL request cancelled by her university library because the full text of the book in question was available via Google Book Search (GBS).
 
I'd never thought of that before. Just wondering how many libraries are checking GBS before going ahead with an ILL request?
